Vintage Hotel Royal Nice French Riviera Framed Luggage Label

Sale price$495
Quantity:

Built in 1905, Hôtel Royal Nice was part of the wave of luxury hospitality that transformed Nice into one of Europe’s most desirable winter resorts. Catering to an international clientele—British aristocracy, European nobility, and later cosmopolitan travelers—the hotel stood as a symbol of Riviera refinement.
Originally affixed to steamer trunks and suitcases, luggage labels were subtle markers of status—signaling where one had traveled and, more importantly, where one had stayed. Today, they remain among the most collectible artifacts of early luxury travel.
